Had to race the dog over to the vets. The recent desexing has gone pear shaped, the wound has become infected and Jack is running quite a high temperature. Giving anti-biotics to a dog is a damn site easier than giving them to the kids. All you have to do is shove the tablet into something edible. As the dog eats anything this gives us a wide range of things to choose from.
On a nicer note...my dog is so clever. Ben left the back door slightly open and the cat got out. We heard the dog barking and Ben went out to investigate and realised what he had done. We raced out thinking the dog may be chasing the cat but no, she was playing sheep dog and keeping the cat sitting still until we could come and get her. How clever is that?

We hope Jack gets better, she is just a lovely baby. At least getting anit-biotics into the dog is easy, Our Jack just runs away. What a good girl Jack is making sure the cat dosen't go too far from home.
