Alex had his second golf lesson today and loved it. Have to book him in for Saturday morning lessons. The lessons are cheap enough thank heavens, although I feel that golf clubs are going to cost me a small fortune. At least it's a nice healthy sport that doesn't involve beating the crap out of other children. Al likes to play hard as it is, so setting him loose on the smaller and weaker children in his age group is just going to result in the other kids being mown down (as nature intended) and then complaints from the parents that are trying to raise their sons to be sensitive and nurturing and know how to match throw cushions to the curtains. On a slightly less blood thirsty note Emma is learning how to make roses out of icing. She is doing very well considering I am trying to teach her a technique that doesn't use cutters, so she has to judge sizes and manipulate the shape with her fingers. Fairly difficult jobs for Emma but she did manage some quite decent work, definately age appropriate. Grandma is taking them to Something on Ice tomorrow. I was told but for some reason my mind is blocking it out. Emma should love it, will be interested to see how Alex feels when he finds out he doesn't actually get to skate.
